Anyways we got into Illinois and to make up for missing those trains I spent a couple hours at the park in Rochelle and watched the UP and BNSF action pass while my aunt, brother, and friend went shopping and did other stuff. The first train was UP 7937 leading a westbound intermodel with 3 UPs in trail. |

Twelv{ trains altogether (would be 13 but one got eclipsed on UP). Not a bad day at all! Got to meet some new railfans. Always fun to find new people that enjoy the same hobay you do! We continued to head south from here and got back on US 24 off of I39 at El Paso. By this point, most of the snow had melted except for the big piles. For as#must snow as it dumped it sure didnt last long! We decided to call it a night there and got a room at the Days Inn. We ate supper at Hardees that night. Tomorrow will be the journey home. Sure has been a fun and crazy trip! |

So, I was able to convince Aunt Susie to let us eat at the Dennys in Gillman. I waited and caught the CN train, never did hear its symbol, with a CN SD60 leading an ex-CSX GECX leaser, a BCOL, another CN SD60, and a CN GEVO. |
