Album Info:The experimental 6,000hp GM6C was built May 1, 1975 at EMD's La Grange plant for use in low speed freight service. The 10,000hp GM10B was also built at La Grange in August, 1976 for use in high speed freight service. Both served on Conrail until return to EMD following Conrail's decision to cease electric operations in 1982.
