All but one of them were purchased in a single eBay auction conducted by Mr. Tim Howerter on Thursday, 23 April 2020. The photographer's name, the locomotive road number(s), the date, and the location are cited when specified on the slide mount.

PRR 4222, EP-20, 1962
Description:
Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the horse racing track in Bowie, Maryland, during August of 1962. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4222 and another E-7 whose number is not recorded. Both are EP-20's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,000 horsepower each. #4222 was built as number "5862" in February of 1948, renumbered "4222" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger, and retired in September of 1967 after just 19 years of revenue service. In this context, this A-A set of locomotives is poised to make the return run to Washington Union Station with their seven-car racetrack special. ("Tchowee"; #6 of 29)

In this context, this A-B-A set of locomotives is pulling Train #22 down the Allegheny Mountains via the Horseshoe Curve and will soon stop at the Altoona Passenger Station on their way to Harrisburg and points East. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,500 horsepower each. #5764 was built in November of 1952. In this context, they've just passed VIEW Tower with a passenger train on its way to Harrisburg and points East. Note the string of empty 50-ton hopper cars belonging to the Berwind-White Coal Mining Company heading back to the mines of Western Pennsylvania for more loads of bituminous coal.
