Title:  CO 2-8-4 #2756 - Chesapeake & Ohio
Description:  Seen sitting in the Clifton Forge, VA, yard is C&O 2-8-4 #2756 buiilt by Lima in 1947. The C&O called this wheel configuration "Kanawhas" rather than the more conventional "Bershires". Good fortune smiled on this loco as it was not sent to the scrapper's torch but preserved as a static display at Huntington Park in Newport News, VA. Specs - serial #9263, K-4 class, 69" drivers, impressive 245 psi boiler pressure, 26x34" cylinders, engine weight of 460,000 lb and tractive effort of 69,368 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo.

Called a "Kanawha" wheel configuration by the C&O, this loco was built by Lima in 1947 but was scrapped by 1961.
