Album Info:Here are 19 photos of Pennsylvania Railroad steam locomotives and various other subjects. I purchased all of them in eBay auctions conducted by Mr. David L. Harvey on 10 and 22 August 2024. The photographer's name, the locomotive road number(s), the date, and the location are cited when available.

Shown here is a pair of unidentified Pennsylvania Railroad "I" Class (2-10-0) "Decapod" steam locomotives serving as tail-end pushers on a freight train that's heading up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin, where they'll be uncoupled and returned to East Altoona for yet another helper-pusher run up "The Mountain." Description:  Harvey. Here is a photo via Rail Photo Service. Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #122 and unidentified diesel-electric locomotives. #122 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during June of 1917 and retired in November of 1955 after 38 years of faithful service. They're rounding a curve with a passenger train and heading up the Allegheny Mountains to the summit at Gallitzin, where the "Pacific" will be uncoupled and returned to Altoona for another assignment. Description:  Harvey. Here is a photo via Rail Photo Service. Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7514 and another locomotive whose road number is not recorded. #7514 is a K-2S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata as a K-2 during February of 1910, rebuilt as a K-2S in June of 1911, and retired in March of 1947 after 37 years of service. Note the Hostler on the tender's deck refilling the reservoir. "Fill 'er up, Mack!" The photographer's name, the date, and the location are not recorded.

Both were built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. #9430 is a BS-10AM constructed in May of 1950 and rated at 1,000 horsepower. In this context, they're rockin' 'n' rollin' somewhere in the Allegheny Mountains of Western Pennsylvania.
