Viewing Album:  Moving Steel Slabs at the ArcelorMittal plant

Album Info:While on a suspended walkway over the mass of tracks running through the heart of the ArcelorMittal stell plant (the former Inland Steel Mill), I was fortunate enough to catch this shuffling of raw steel slabs from one part of the mill to the finishing area. Interesting to note are the nicknames written on several of the flatcars carrying the slabs. Sorta personalizes them.
