Description:
Even in the 1950's, this 1913 Baldwin built camelback was of interest to railfans as seen in this fan trip. Specifics - class L7as camelback, 69" drivers, 210 psi boiler pressure, 23x28" cylinders, engine weight of 225,600 lb, tractive effort of 40,143 lb. No photographer listed nor the location of this photo but with Joe Melton's help (see comment below), it has been identified as Winslow Junction, NJ.

Description:
Here is Anthony H. Perles original photo of the 1913 Baldwin built 4-6-0 camelback "774 at the head of one of its last fan trips before it was retired a year later. This loco was used in commuter service most of its life and eventually scrapped in 1956.
