Description:
Car 3012 has been given a paint scheme advertising the Illinois National Guard. Scott Air Force Base, as well as SWIC Coolege (where a lot of Air National Guard veterans attend on the GI Bill) are served by the MetroLink Red Line near its easternmost terminus in Shiloh.

St. Louis MetroLink - Along the Bike Trail Near N. Belt West
Description:
This photo was taken the first time I rode my bike along the Metro Bik Trail. It is roughly 6 miles long, and parallels the MetroLink Red Line most of the way between Memorial Hospital and College Stations. This train is rounding the winding curve past High Mount School after going under N. Belt West in Swansea, Illinois. It is about to cross over Rt. 159.

On a sunny January Morning, Car 3004 leads a MetroLink train toward the bridge over Green Mount Rd. in Belleville, Illinois. Just before crossing over Green Mount, the train crosses a bridge (shown here) over the intersection of the Metro Bike-Link and Brooke Manor trails. Car 3020 is in tow going toward Lambert Airport.
