Description:  This locomotive (a 4-6-0--not a 4-6-2) is on static display behind the old CP passenger station which now serves as a tourist information center. This model D10H locomotive was built by the Canadian Locomotive Co. in Kingston, Ontario, in August 1913 (see Builders plate, CP 1095).

Description:  A D10h 10 wheel locomotive built by the Canadian Locomotive Company of Kingston in 1913. This particular unit was bought by a local service club with money raised by public subscription and then donated to the City of Kingston. The locomotive was re-named the "Spirit of Sir John A." after the 1st Prime Minister of Canada, and a citizen of Kingston, Sir John A. MacDonald.
