Partial Caption: "Conrail SD40 helpers 6296-6290 assist restored PRR E8's 5898-5706 on a seventeen-car consist around Horseshoe Curve on November 1, 1987." From here, it's up to Gallitzin, through one tunnel, around the wye, through the New Portage Tunnel, down "The Mountain" and around the Curve to Altoona.
