Description:  Nothing special about these light engines on the NS at Crawford, or is there? NS 8436 was ex-CR 6259. This unit was wrecked at Effingham, IL on 12/22/1995, and rebuilt with a "cab kit" which had the high mounted numberboards and no marker lights, different from all other CR C40-8Ws.

Description:  A shot I liked to get, though I didnt do it often because you had to stand in the traffic lane on NY 7 to do it, was this view of a southbound coming off the Susquehanna River bridge from Sidney into Bainbridge. I braved the traffic(it was Sunday, not that it makes a lot of difference here) to get this shot of 269 with an ex Conrail leader.
