Title:
Station display
Description:
Part of the Canadian Rail Transportation Museum. The depot originally stood in Elko, and was moved to Cranbrook in 1987. there were no reporting marks on the FA's, but I am fairly sure they are ex VIA ex CP. The units are in bad shape though, stripped of traction motors, most of the glass is broken or missing, and the prime motors have parts stolen off them.

Many makes and models are represented, but mostly those built by the American Locomotive Company. In the foreground is PRR engine #8916, an AS-16MS built by ALCo in 1951 and rated at 1,600 horsepower. Behind it is PRR engine #9616, an AF-16 built by ALCo in 1951 and rated at 1,600 horsepower. And behind that is PRR engine #8912, another AS-16MS built by ALCo in 1951 and rated at 1,600 horsepower.
