CB&Q XML14 23357
Title:  CB&Q XML14 23357
Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad Class XML-14 23357 at Cicero, Illinois on an unknown day in September 1979, Ektachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This car was one of 200 outside braced boxcars built at CB&Q's Havelock, Nebraska shops in 1967, numbered 23300-23499. It is stenciled BLT.8.67.HV, and was re-weighed SM-10-76. It was likely originally painted in the then-standand CB&Q Chinese Red paint scheme, and had a large metal herald on the right side. There is evidence of the attaching bolts and red paint on the rib just to the right of the door stops. It is seen here in the pre-merger paint scheme.
