Northbound Amtrak Texas Eagle Train #21 |
Description: |
People board and deboard at the depot, and most importantly, a smoke break occured. The guy in the white shirt and the cap by the first car, furthest away from the train, was from San Antonio, a road foreman, he was wearing a Mercedes Benz Cap...who says railroaders aren't well paid, lol. The assistant engineer was looking back for Engineer Bubba, who went and got their breakfast from the dining car, ah yes, passenger railroading is alive and well in Poplar Bluff, Missouri today! |

Title: |
Conductor Bill and Dennis Glaze |
Description: |
Amtrak Conductor Bill and Station Caretaker Dennis are dressed very appropriately for the 14 degree weather. Dennis is highly responsible for the depot in Poplar Bluff still standing, had it not been for him, there would likely be an empty foundation over his left shoulder. |
