| The Mississippi River town of Clarksville MO is a pleasant place to watch trains; it's on the BNSF "K-Line" and sees a good amount of traffic, a lot of which is coal. The touristy downtown features antique shops, a trackside park on the river and an elevated observation area for the adjacent lock and dam facility. (and the Purple Martins didn't seem to mind the train much either!) |
