Scott Bruce General Amtrak. It used the cowl body from the F45/FP45 locomotive on what was basically a SD40-2. I am not sure how long they were. They carried a lotof water for the steam generator and had several derailment incidents. It is speculated the water slotshed and caused the derailment. Antrak traded most of them on F40PHs. 10/24/2008 12:26:59 AM
