| Erie Lackawanna SDP45 3638, date, location, photographer unknown, Chuck Zeiler collection. This slide was purchased at a hobby shop for 25 cents. There were no notes on the slide mount. Any info would be appreciated. This much I know: Built in June 1969 (c/n 34979) on EMD Oder 7174, became CR 6999, and later NS 6999. Although built on a SDP45 frame and classed as such, it carried no steam generator. It was built on the longer frame to accommodate the larger fuel tank requested by EL. |
