Power at St. Joe  Contributor's Pick!
Two units idle between switching assignments at the former MP (Union Terminal) engine facility at St. Joseph MO. UP 810, in well-worn UP paint, was originally an MP unit. HLCX 1036 is somewhat more convoluted, being built as a Seaboard GP40 in 1966 and subsequently belonging to SCL, SBD, CSX and UP before being rebuilt to GP38-2 standards.
