| Craig and I had been planning a Deshler day for a few weeks, and the day was finally here. The morning started out sunny and crisp. We got a little bit later of a start than we were hoping, so we ended up beginning our day on CSX at Defiance. That ended up being the right choice as M367 was coming west with a SD70MAC leader, and it was already west of Deshler. Eastbound traffic was to come first, however. We worked west out of Defiance to get away from shadows still covering the tracks and caught CSX I168 to start our day, which also had a SD70MAC leader. Looks good in that golden light! |
