| Kreamer. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by R. von dem Hagen that was taken at the Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1964. Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8650 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. $8650 is an AS-18M built by the American Locomotive Company in December of 1957 and rated at 1,800 horsepower. In this context, they're rounding the Curve with a fully-loaded mineral train on its way down the Allegheny Mountains to the Eastbound Receiving Yard in Altoona.
