South Amboy was a backwater on the mighty Pennsy, but it was still a good place to watch passenger trains. In the 50's it was the last place steam ran on the PRR, and in the 80's, it closed out the GG1's. I remember well that era-had a girlfriend in Red Bank in the early 80's. I used to see G's there at that facility. Now, nothing but bare ruined choirs......
