| MIDWEST CITY OK June 4 1979 -- Santa Fe GP7u 2158 idles at the General Motors yard near Tinker AFB. The facility is still under construction. EMD built this unit in August 1952 as ATSF GP7 2751. The Cleburne shops rebuilt it in May 1979 as ATSF GP7u 2158. It was off the roster before January 1999 and sold to Chesapeake and Albemarle RR as CA 2158. (Roster information from atsfrr.net) |
