Norfolk Southern C40-9W #9056 splits the signals at the west end of the siding
Norfolk Southern #9056 east was stopped at the 361 milepost (Alexander City) for the conductor to walk the train. An officer with the Alexander City Police Department gave the conductor a ride back to the head-end as the train had the entire downtown sewn up. Jacksons Gap is at the 352 milepost and this train will meet NS #135 at Opelika, milepost 315
