L P General Glad to see another shot. A lady friend of mine said she wanted to see pictures of that part of my life. For a starter I knew there were some out there on the Internet. And like I told her, we had a lot of pictures takenof us, but this was before digital cameras and the Internet. I know I got a crappy picture somewhere taken from the side door in the 056 with a CTA train a B&OCT GP and the 683 all in one shot when they were turning us on a wye. Hehe, not something you see every shot. If memory serves me right, it was 683, 691, 672, 685 and 686. 644 and 671 were also equipped with the equipment we were testing. There were 6 round trips from Clyde to Seattle (Interbay) that summer checking fuel consumption. We did 3 with the fuel saving equipment on and 3 off. I was on 3 of them. 6/19/2012 8:35:39 AM
Chuck Zeiler General This was a grab shot. I was on my way to work and passed over the Laramie Street bridge and saw white locomotives. They were out of place in Cicero, so I pulled over and parked the car, and ran back across the bridge. I snapped a couple of photos and ran back to the car. I was a little late arriving at work that day. 6/19/2012 8:00:39 PM
