| Rio Grande GP30 No.3014 makes a cameo appearance behind Rio Grande GP40-2 No.3096 at Provo's 820 North Grade Crossing on Southern Pacific's UTO4L (Provo Local) with a train loaded with rolled steel,tank cars,flats,along with empty coal cars out of Geneva Steel. The duo will deliver it's train to the Rio Grande Provo Yard before returning to Salt Lake City. Back in the early to mid 1990's it was still possible to find Rio Grande GP30's working the locals between Provo and Salt Lake City. |
