Ex Reading RDCs held down the two remaining trains covering the service that was once hourly from the CNJ Jersey City terminal to Philadelphia. Now down to two trains each way daily-the Wall Street and the Crusader-they now ran in and out of Penn Station as part of the Aldene plan. This one is on the Crusader, about to launch its trip down the ex LV, CNJ and Reading. These runs would be discontinued shortly after this date, replaced by a train that NJ Transit ran as far as West Trenton. |
