| Dakota Short Line (official rpt marks DAKS) was an attempt to reopen part of the ex Dakota Southern, exx MILW Napa-Platte line. DAKS actually ran out to Tyndell on 65 lb rail with this beast. Grain loading never materiallized, and they were forced to give up the operation. Paint was brand new in this picture-there were paint cans and equipment still sitting on the north side of the unit.
