Built by Alco-Rogers in 1907, this loco and its sister #22, were seen as the "modern" power for transporting visitors into Yosemite National Park. It's serial number was 44389, and had 63" drivers, created 165 psi boiler pressure for its 18"x26" cylinders and produced 18,753 lbs tractive effort, enough to pull the short trains into the park.
