CN through freight crosses Winchester Rd. as it heads southeast via former SOO rails at Town of Menasha, WI on 28 Mar. '14. The divergence of rail lines at Winchester Rd., where one line heads northwest toward Stevens Point and the other line heads northeast toward Green Bay, used to be named Winnebago Junction. Train was coming from Stevens Point and was slowing to stop at the north end of the Neenah yard so it could reverse direction and continue on to Green Bay. It had two locomotives CN 2639 pulling and GTW 5944 pushing. Prolamina, which clearly receives rail service is partially visible on the left. The Hwy. 41 overpass is visible in the background. |
