| Adirondack Scenic RS-18 #1835 leads a northbound excursion train at Fish Lane Road in Marcy, NY on 7/24/2014. The train was moving along at a pretty good clip. I was hoping to get another shot of the train further up the line, but I was unable to keep up with it, and I was surprised! Years ago, I rode this train when it ran all the way to Lake Placid. Back then, the train's top speed was painfully slow. Clearly the line has been improved, and I think that's great! |
