| The new station at Middletown is on the formerly freight only Graham Line, now handling passenger trains since the original Erie main was abandoned through Chester, Goshen and Middletown. This station is out by the Galleria, just to the north of NY 17. It may be cheaper to run, but has none of the elegance of the station it replaced, which is now a library. We see a mid day run from Suffern pausing on its way to Port Jervis with a pair of RDCs, the lead car a former NYC Beeliner. Note the railfan chase vehicle to the left of the train. |
