NP 4-8-4 #2650 - Northern Pacific  Contributor's Pick!       
Looking like it just rolled off the assembly line, this 1934 Baldwin built 4-8-4 "Northern" type locomotive still has the reflective shine on its tender and not a spot of road grime on itw white walls. Specifics - class A-2s, 77" drivers, 250 spi boiler pressure, 28x31" cylinders, engine weight of 489,400 lb, tractive effort of 67,073 lb. No date, location or photogrpaher given.
