Typical 0-6-0 switcher built by Aloc-Brooks in October, 1923 originally as @IL #37. It was later renumbered CIL #97 in Octover of 1946 just before being retired in December of 1946. It was finally sold for scrapo in March of 1947. On the back of the photo, it lists Anderson, IN, as the location for the photo. Does anyone know why and how a Monon would have ended up in Anderson, IN, tht is, if it is a correct location? No date was given for the photo so an approximate one was used. C.C.
