Spoor: The Burlington returned to American Car & Foundry in April 1938 for 100 more 50-ton Rodger Selective ballast cars. These cars, numbered 220500 - 220599 and classified MWB-12, had a capacity of 1,970 cu. ft. and with an inside length of 33'4", were somewhat longer that the earlier cars ( Class MWB-10, # 220000 - 220199 ). |
