| GTR is a weird one. They are still an 'active' shortline as far as the Feds are concerned. They are still listed by the Rosedale Port on their website as the port's rail connection. However, GTR has been under a formal embargo of rail traffic for years, meaning they are active but can't accept any cars. So their two Alcos slumber away, and the tracks have disappeared under the kudzu. |
