| "Time Exposure." A southbound coal train was seen passing the old operating semaphore signals at Brighton Park, Illinois in May 2007. The headlights of a northbound train shine behind it. These signals were the last manually operated semaphores in the nation, raised and mowered by mechanical levers in the shack. They displayed the signal aspects that were needed.
