NYSW would sometimes run a train up to Chenango Forks and stash it in the siding, perhaps because there was no room to hold a long train at Binghamton without making the local jobs lives difficult. As a result, you never knew what youd find there. Today, its an ex Cartier Alco with what appears to be an ex B&M GP 40-2, now a HATX lease unit, an ex NW SD 40, and a tunnel motor.
