PRR 2001, BF-16, #1 of 2, 1951         
Dziobko. Here is the first of two successive duplicate 35mm color slides of photos by John Dziobko, Jr., that were taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 10 September 1951. Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2001 and a "Shark" B-unit whose road number is not recorded. #2001 is a BF-16 built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in June of 1951 and rated at 1,600 horsepower, later rebuilt as an ABF-18 rated at 1,800 horsepower, and retired in July of 1966 after just 15 years of revenue service.
