One thing about scanning slides, sometimes the slide looks okay and the scan reveals to you the picture was soft. Kind of edited this back... D&H RS3m (or MK TE56-4A if you prefer) #504 reseting on a foggy afternoon in Oneonta NY on December 29, 1979. My friend had been accepted to SUNY Oneonta and we decided on a wild whim to just drive up there (from Paramus, NJ). Obviously I had the camera with me, although I'm surprised I did because we were literally just hanging out talking and next thing I knew, we were driving the three hours from our home to see his college. We drove up in my 1971 Ford Torino. We had two near accidents (two of the worst near accidents I would say I've ever had, glad we're both still alive) and came home to two sets of irate/upset/anxiety ridden parents who wanted to know where we had disappeared to for seven hours (assuming we spent an hour in Oneonta). I recall saying there was a Delaware & Hudson yard in town and that was another good reason to go there. The things we do when we're young.
