Locomotive #1110 was an F-3A model built by EMD (Builder #3596) in December 1946 as Alton Railroad #810. Acquired by the Gulf, Mobile and Ohio Railroad after merger with the Alton Railroad on May 31, 1947and re-numbered GM&O #805A. Became Illinois Central Gulf #1604 after 1972 merger of Illinois Central and GM&O (number assigned but never used). Rebuilt by Paducah Shops 5/18/77, sold to Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority for commuter service and re-numbered MBTA #1100. Modified with a head end power generator to an FP-10A by Morrison-Knudson in February 1992, leased from MBTA by Cape Cod Railroad February 1992 to January 1998 and painted in Cape Cod Railroads "Great Northern" paint scheme. Sold to the Indian Head Central Railroad in 1999 retaining Great Northern style paint scheme and #1100. Leased by the Historic St. Marys Railway on October 21, 2003.
