| I found out later that this old timer put in 45 years in engine Service with the MP/UP as a fireman then an engineer. He retired 21 years ago in 1986. He is in his late 80's and was glad to be aboard 844 today behind the fireman. I later found out that his name was Howard Dawson. One nice fellow indeed. Thanks to the Union Pacific Yahoo! Group member who told me his name. |
