BNSF Extra 986 East
An empty BNSF grain extra works east across the bridge at Canyon Diablo (about 40 cars back) on a beautiful, blustry autumn day in the desert. The remains of the town of Canyon Diablo are buried in the tall grass, accompanied only by lizards and insects--and the railroad. The Arizona Divide and San Francisco Peaks form the distant background.
