Description:
Here are pages five and six of a ten-page booklet entitled "Pennsylvania Railroad Electrification" that was published by the PRR on 10 February 1935. Depicted here are two versions of the PRR's "P-5A" Class (2-C-2) electric locomotives rated at 3,750 horsepower. At the right is engine #4760, a P-5A built by General Electric in October of 1932 and retired in November of 1964. At the left is engine #4780, a P-5A (Modified) constructed in Juniata during December of 1934 and retired in April of 1962.

Here is page 13 of a 30-page booklet published by the Pennsylvania Railroad entitled "Modern Locomotives And Cars: 1939." Depicted here are PRR engines #3910 and #4780. Both were built in Juniata. Engine #3910 is a B-1 (0-C-0) switcher built in Juniata during June of 1926 and rated at 570 horsepower. Engine #4780 is a P-5A(M) (2-C-2) built in December of 1934, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in April of 1962.
