Byerly. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Allan H. Roberts that was taken at Sunnyside Yard in Long Island City, New York, in 1967. Photo Caption: "Pennsylvania No. 4790, Class L-6, Sunnyside, L.I., N.Y., 1967." PRR engine #4790 is an L-6 (1-D-1) built in Juniata as number "7826" during January of 1932, rated at 2,500 horsepower, renumbered "5939 in August of 1933, and renumbered "4790" in November of 1966 in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Electric Railroading ~ Penn Central and Pennsylvania Lines" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (868-28).
