Album Info:Here are 33 photos that were taken at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Engine Service Tracks at Meadows Yard near Kearny, New Jersey. All of them were purchased via eBay auctions conducted by Mr. Tim Rose: one on 12 July 2020 and six on 24 August 2020. The photographer's name, the locomotive road number(s), and the date are cited when specified on the slide mount. Most of the slide mounts are annotated "Al Roberts Collection." Also included is a related photo that was purchased from another eBay merchant.

Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #4995 and #4730. #4995 is an E-3B (B-B-B) electric built by Baldwin-Westinghouse during June of 1951, rated at 3,000 horsepower, and retired in June of 1965. #4730 is a P-5A (2-C-2) built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in December of 1932, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in November of 1964. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Engine Service Tracks at Meadows Yard near Kearny, New Jersey, on 19 September 1953. The photographer is not identified. Prominent here (L to R) are PRR engines #4907, #4747, and #4726. #4907 is a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electric built in Juniata during August of 1940 and rated at 4,620 horsepower. #4747 and #4726 are both 2-C-2 electrics built by Baldwin-Westinghouse and rated at 3,750 horsepower each. #4747 is a P-5A (Modified) built in March of 1935 and retired in April of 1962, while #4726 is a P-5A constructed in December of 1932 and retired in May of 1963. The photographer is not identified. Prominent here is PRR engine #4726, a P-5A (2-C-2) built by Baldwin-Westinghouse during December of 1932, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in May of 1963. Two more PRR locomotives are also visible here. At the far left is #4747, a P-5A (Modified) built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in March of 1935, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in April of 1962. Visible at the right is PRR engine #9321, a GS-4 switcher built by General Electric in April of 1949, rated at 380 horsepower, and retired in June of 1964.
