PRR 830, K-4S, #1 of 3, 1957         
Meadows. Here is the first of three successive duplicate 35mm color slides via Al Chione that were taken at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Engine House at Meadows Yard near Kearny, New Jersey, on 19 September 1953. Shown here is PRR engine #830, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during July of 1917 and retired in April of 1958 after 41 years of faithful service. The names of the photographer and the railroader at the left are not recorded. ("Stoneborobranch"; #20 of 32)
