Marion Union Station in 1988.  Contributor's Pick!
Only the depot remains in this view. The signal bridge is gone and Marion AC tower is now restored and on the opposite side of the tracks and out of view from this angle.

Fred Stuckmann General Interestingly, the tower lost a third of it's height. I'm told that it would have cost an extra 10 grand to have it be full size in it's new location. Great shots Stu. 9/3/2013 11:31:52 PM
Stu Nicholson General Thanks Fred! Amazing to see how much the area has changed today. Even that old derelict factory is gone. And the depot is certainly in much better shape than it was when I took this. 9/4/2013 7:46:17 AM
