| As frequently happens on these little jaunts, I have a train to chase back north. Today it is an empty TXUX coal train, waiting at CP North Stilwell alongside US 59. The single unit up front is augmented by two more on the rear. Usually they will move all the power to the head end on the empty moves, since there is no need for a rear DPU. Occasionally, theyll leave the power as it came down, just cutting off the KCS helpers at Heavener, which is what happened today. |
