Atlanta & West Point 40-foot, 50-ton box car 37335 was on the Louisville & Nashville at Pascagoula, Mississippi on 2 July 1958. It was in the north end of the NAVY TRACK, loaded with sacks of feed and seed consigned to Gallaspy's Feed Store, which was nearby. The car had a CAPY of 100,000 pounds, a LD LMT of 122,800 pounds and a LT WT of 46,200 pounds, for a gross rail load of 169,000 pounds. This was one of 40 cars in the A&WP series 37300-37339 which had been built by Pullman-Standard in 1941. |
