Santa Fe 50-foot, 40-ton double-door box car AT&SF 7709 was on the Louisville & Nashville’s HOUSE TRACK at Biloxi, Mississippi in September 1961. The car had both a CAPY and a LD LMT of 79,000 pounds and a LT WT of 57,000 pounds for a gross rail load of 136,000 pounds, and had been reweighed at Dodge City in April 1958. It was a Fe-13 class car from the 7601-7849 series which the railroad rebuilt in 1937 from Fe-K and Fe-M class cars which had been built by American Car & Foundry in 1909 and 1912.
